Nose: Peppers, beetroot, raspberry, cherry and spicy oak with some leather.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Ripe fruit is maturing and integrating well with the wood, alcohol and spice. Ripe and dusty tannins are mellowing well, the finish is long and clean and soft.
Conclusions: Very nicely made Cab Franc is maturing very nicely, and could go another five years. Great companion at the table, and suitable now for fancier dinners." lfw
