"DATE: 06-11-07 Appearance: White gold with green highlights.
Nose: Peaches and cream, honey, lemon-lime, spices and floral notes.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, midweight plus. Lovely lime, peach and apricot flavours on the attack, as the palate follows the nose. Big soft wine midpalate, long clean drying finish (much drier at the end than the beginning).
Conclusions: Lighter and more acid/fruit driven than either the 2002 Gewurz or the 2005 Vidal icewines, I couldn't help blending the Gewurz and Riesling together for the most enjoyable wine of the three! More normally, the riesling icewine could go another ten years." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Gold fading to yellow straw in colour. The nose is intensely concentrated with notes of peach, honey, mango and passion fruit. Rich, creamy palate with sweet hints of guava and apricot that are later cleansed from the palate with refreshing citrus acidity. Good balance between sugar and acidity, good length."
