Tech Information: 06-02-07 $ 19.95 (S: 0 A: 13.0) Winery

"DATE: 04-15-07 Appearance: Dark purple.
Nose: Cedar, blueberry, cranberry, sweet oak, bits of chocolate/vanilla. Quite rich.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Deep cran/blueberry fruit with a nice oak/alcohol/fruit balance. Lightish dusty tannins show midpalate Long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Essentially fruit-driven reserve baco is ageing nicely, coming along well. Still has at least five years in front of it. Not made in the modern, sweetish style." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Inky purple in colour and full-bodied with smoky blueberry, cedar and blackberry notes. Rich and complex with good tannin structure. Will age over time. Decant to drink now or cellar for 5-7 years. Pair with grilled vegetables, lamb, tomato based dishes, and hearty meat dishes with a touch of spice."
