"DATE: 06-07-07 Appearance: Ruby (dark for pinot).
Nose: Strawberry, sweet cherry, pencil lead, spicy oak and a mineral quality.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding rich mouthfeel and ripe tannins midpalate. Finish is long clean and dry.
Conclusions: Very good value in oaked-style pinot which could go another five years. Try this with rarer red meats or strong cheeses, or in three years on its own." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Lots of fruit on the palate with flavours of strawberries, sweet, spicy cedar, and raspberries, with a hint of black currants. Well structured tannins are still apparent and will allow this wine to age for another few years but drink it now for immediate enjoyment."
