"DATE: 06-11-07 Appearance: Deep gold.
Nose: Honey, peaches, pear, pineapple, spices.
Palate: Sweet with moderate acidity, heavyweight. Palate follows the nose nicely. Rich and soft midpalate, some light tannins on the finish and a bit of warmth.
Conclusions: Good example of big-style Vidal icewine is already showing signs of maturity but has at least five years in its future. Big wine to have instead of dessert." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This Vidal Icewine has a rich, aromatic nose of apricots, honey and peaches. The palate has deep, complex flavours of sweet honey, ripe tropical fruit and very subtle hints of citrus. This sweet wine is well balanced and shows good acidity in the finish. Serve chilled to approximately 12°C. Excellent on its own or when paired with rich foods like foie gras and soft creamy cheeses, including Blue or Stilton, as well as sweet desserts and chocolates. Comes with Lakeviews Canadiana bright blue Icewine gift box."
