"DATE: 10-26-07 Appearance: Gold.
Nose: Typical Vidal icewine nose showing peach/apricot, honey, spices and light floral character.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, heavyweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, nice mouthfeel, creamy almost, great long clean finish.
Conclusions: Good example of a midrange (halfway between elegant/light and heavy/over the top) style of icewine. Good value icewine, suitable to most people with any kind of sweet tooth, capable of ten years in a good cellar." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"A VQA wine. This Vidal Icewine has a rich, aromatic nose of apricots, honey and peaches. The palate has deep, complex flavours of sweet honey, ripe tropical fruit and very subtle hints of citrus. This sweet wine is well balanced and shows good acidity in the finish. Serve chilled to approximately 12°C. Excellent on its own or when paired with rich foods like foie gras and soft creamy cheeses, including Blue or Stilton, as well as sweet desserts and chocolates. Comes with Lakeviews Canadiana bright blue Icewine gift box."
