It should be strongly noted that there is absolutely no relationship between the number of products listed and the dollar amount of sales through those listings. For example, a particular listing in the catalogue could represent 10 or 15 cases, while a different listing could represent hundreds of cases. I have heard complaints that the Classics Catalogue will include token amounts of domestic listings to make it look like they are selling more domestic product.
November 5, 2005 - The classics catalogue now lists French wines first in the book, with the very few Canadian listings near the back sandwiched between Portugal/Spain and California. Any significance to this apparent promotion of France and demotion of Canada??
August 2007 - 2 domestic out of 350 wines!?!? Is it that LCBO people are ashamed of being Canadian, or that Canadians should be ashamed of LCBO???
