"DATE: 08-27-07 Appearance: Deep ruby / purple, youthful.
Nose: Deep brooding nose has cassis, spicy oak, raspberry, cherry and some minerality.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate follows the nose, with some grapey youthfulness on the attack. Richness and ripe tannins enter midpalate, with a long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Very youthful futurestar needs two years to start to come together, and will last for ten thereafter. Too good to drink now, but if you must, have it with something with lots of tomato or other acid, or with rare red meats. Worth waiting for." lfw

Nose: Aromas of plum and spice.
Flavour: Excellent tannin structure and rich berry fruit, components of plums and currant with hints of chocolate.

Food Pairings: Crispy skinned black grouper, blackened kingfish fillet, grilled shark steak with apple cider glaze."
