Vignoble Le Royer St-Pierre welcomes wine lovers. Its facilities are located in Napierville, 45 kilometers (approx. 30 minutes) southwest of Montréal, near the US border. Our geographical area relies on a microclimate, which is beneficial to grapegrowing. This part of our Province is called LE HAUT RICHELIEU valley.

Our family-owned cottage winery is celebrating its 10th year of grapegrowing and winemaking (1989-1999).

We are pleased to offer you our fine quality products. Our wines are produced from grapes grown on our land. Varieties such as Maréchal Foch, Cayuga, Geisenheim and Cabernet Franc are planted in three different types of soil and produce a wide range of bouquets and finesse. A complete selection of red, white, rosé and specialty wines are offered.

Our commitment to quality has been recognized with prestigious medals and awards in various international competitions.

Tours and tastings are available. Relax in one of our 4 tasting rooms in a barn style ambiance. Visit the wine production area; our guides will be pleased to assist you. For your special occasions, we can provide groups of 15 to 60 people with cheese and buffet style menus.

If your visit is more than a day trip, we will be pleased to suggest different local activities or attractions in Québec, Vermont or New York State, such as historical sites, gastronomic feasts, museums, sports events and local inns.

Come and visit us or call to confirm your visit. For groups of 15 to 60 people, private tours and tastings are available through advance reservations. For cheese or buffet style menus, we require 7 days advance notice.

THE WINES OF VIGNOBLE LE ROYER ST-PIERRE

Terre de St-Cyprien is a red wine, made from Marechal Foch and Ste-Croix grapes. It is a light, fruity, Beaujolais-style red wine. Quite fruity, with a taste of field berries and a little spiciness.
Food Suggestions: Cold cuts, pot roast, roast pork, grilled chicken and mild cheese.
Serving Temperature: 10 to 14 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 2 years.

Les Trois Sols is a white wine, made from Cayuga white grapes. A delicate taste of fruit, such as apricots and peaches, and a lingering muscat flavour.
Food Suggestions: Fish, foie gras, white meat, roast, shellfish, oysters, quiche lorraine.
Serving Temperature: 8 to 10 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 2 to 3 years.

Le Garnement is a sweet white wine, made from late harvest Kay Gray and Geisenheim grapes. It has a light golden colour, with pleasant aromas such as honey and ripe fruit, apricots in particular. this wine, lightly aged in an oak barrel, offers a delicate aftertaste of roasted nuts.
Food Suggestions: Foie gras, strong cheese, almond pie, chocolate profiterole and various sweet desserts.
Serving Temperature: 8 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 5 years or more.

La Dauversiere is a white blend of St-Pepin and Geisenheim. It is lightly aged in French oak barrels. With an apple/pear fruitiness, this dry wine has a delicate, nutty aroma.
Food Suggestions: Cold cuts, seafood platter, oysters, fish, mild cheese, creamed chicken dishes.
Serving Temperature: 10 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 2 to 3 years.

Les Trois Sols Rose is made mainly from the Marechal Foch grape. This light and refreshing wine evokes hints of strawberry and blackcurrant. Chill before serving.
Food Suggestions: White meat, cold cuts, assorted cheese platter and fresh fruit; ideal for sipping on a terrace, accompanied with dry sausage.
Serving Temperature: 8 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 2 years (but we recommend drinking it immediately).

La Parcelle du Temps Geisenheim grapes are used for this white wine. Its originality stems from the fact that we use our youngest and oldest Geisenheim vines to produce this rich, refreshing wine. A pleasant oakiness gives this wine a mellow taste and a powerful bouquet.
Food Suggestions: Fish fillets with cream sauce, coquille St-Jacques, blue cheese, smoked salmon.
Serving Temperature: 8 to 10 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 5 years and more.

Le LAmbertois Carte Or This robust red wine, made from Marechal Foch, Cabernet Franc and Ste-Croix grapes possesses powerful fruity flavours, lots of oakiness and a delicate vanilla taste. A very intense red wine, with great aging possibilities.
Food Suggestions: Pepper steak, meat sauteed in sauce, roast duck or goose, wild game and strong cheese.
Serving Temperature: 16 to 18 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 5 years and more.

Le Lambertois Carte Noire This limited red wine reserve is offered only at a certain time of the year. This wine is identical to the Lambertois Carte Or, but the difference lies in its age. The Carte Noire is always aged a few years.
Food Suggestions: Red meat, spicy cold cuts, wild game and strong cheese.
Serving Temperature: 16 to 18 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 5 years and more.

Givre Noir The Ste Croix grape is used to produce this red wine reserve. Dense, ruby colour and a good fruity aroma, such as cherries, with a hint of vanilla and delicately aged in American white oak barrels.
Food Suggestions: Duck pate, rabbit, roasted meat, mild to strong cheese and pasta with spicy sauce.
Serving Temperature: 14 to 18 Celsius.
Aging Potential: 3 to 4 years.
