Nose: Caramel, tropical fruit, some brandy character, oak(?).
Palate: Sweet with moderate to good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding spiciness midpalate. Very long clean finish.
Conclusions: Interesting stand-alone wine is not port, sherry or anything traditional, but is quite useful. Should last a very long time, may even do well out of the fridge door for a week or two at a time." lfw
