"DATE: 08-25-07 Appearance: Light lemon.
Nose: Pear/apple with peach/apricot notes, and a floral character as well.
Palate: Off dry with moderate acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding honeydew melon notes and some richness on the midpalate, and a good clean finish.
Conclusions: Great choice as a social summer wine, but this would evaporate dangerously quickly on my patio on a hot summer day. Acidity nicely balances the sugar and fruit to make a wine that is also quite suitable to Thai cuisine, or most foods with some heat or spice. Should hold through 2009 at most, not for long keeping." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"A pale gold with green highlights, even the appearance suggests a fresh and refreshing mouthful.

Floral aromatics blend with crisp green apple notes, rounded out with hints of peach and almond. This is a light bodied wine with a smooth, satin-like mouthfeel. The palate presents some more green apple fruit with a hint of caramel. The flavors amplify in the aftertaste leaving a long and lingering memory that suggests another mouthful would be justified. Clean, fresh acidity makes this a great wine for hot weather, patio sipping and some grilled shrimp straight off the BBQ.

Best through the summer of 2007 but should still be interesting through the New Year and into next spring."
