"12-20-07 Appearance: Gold.
Nose: Rich peaches, honey, spices, ripe tropical fruit, quite inviting.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, heavyweight. Nicely balanced big icewine (bigness is concentrated fruit, not alcohol, which is almost hidden in this wine). Great mouthfeel, elegant and big, great long clean finish.
Conclusions: Worthy successor to previous dessert wines I've had from this producer, which has won awards all over the place. Wonderful ageworthy icewine to match the best from other parts of the world. Could age more than ten years easily." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"En quantité limitée, notre « eiswein » est tout à fait surprenant. C’est le fleuron de notre maison. Il est produit à partir de raisins Vidal à 100% cueillis en décembre sous une température de –10 à –14 Celsius. Robe dorée et parfums complexes, ce vin liquoreux se prend aussi bien en apéro avec le foie gras qu’avec le dessert fin. Disponible en demi bouteille seulement."
