"12-19-07 Appearance: Straw with green tints.
Nose: Clean peach/apple with light spicy oak and a floral character.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Big baked apple and nicely integrated oak, fine tannins midpalate and on the good clean finish. Some creaminess as well as a vanilla/spice/leesy character midpalate, good character throughout.
Conclusions: Seyval is a grape that should never have been forgotten and left behind in the pursuit of artificial factory-made cheap vinifera. This is a very food-friendly and nicely balanced wine that would age well for another three years, and will stand to a wide range of flavourful foods. Seyval works well with this level of oak, nicely done." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Vin de Seyval blanc à 100% vieilli 5 mois en barrique de chêne. Nez boisé et vanillé, à savourer avec viandes blanches sauces épicées et fromages aux fines herbes."
