"DATE: 06-02-07 Appearance: Ruby with slight browning at the edge.
Nose: Complex nose - sweet oak, cassis, raspberry, plum, chocolate, light earthy character developing.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Great fruit on the attack, good concentrated flavours follows the nose. Richness and ripe tannins midpalate and on the long dry finish.
Conclusions: Great value in a nearly-ready Bordeaux blend, this would stand reasonably well in a tasting with good Bordeaux at five times the price. Will last another eight years, slowly becoming funky and ever-increasing character." lfw
