"DATE: 03-23-07 Appearance: Ruby with a bit of brick at the rim.
Nose: Cherry, raspberry, red peppers, smoky oak, light chocolate.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big style cab franc with a future. Palate follows the nose, richness midpalate, dusty tannins, good alcohol/fruit/extract balance. Long clean finish.
Conclusions: Early days for this barrel sample, which shows long life for a great wine. Big in every way, Another great cab franc from Marynissen. Had a bottle of the 95 on March 22 07 which still had years in front of it, and developed well. This may match the 95..." lfw
