"DATE: 08-22-07 Appearance: Peach / gold.
Nose: Apple pie with cinnamon, ginger, honey and a floral character - this could easily be mistaken for a big vidal icewine on the nose.
Palate: Sweet with fresh acidity, heavyweight. Rich from the moment you smell it, but the palate still overwhelms the nose. Huge peach/apricot and spices are added to the nose, with other tropical fruit, butterscotch and gumdrops. Huge creamy mouthfeel, with a very long intensely clean finish.
Conclusions: Easily the equal of most grape icewines, this is a monster apple wine that could go possibly twenty years in a good cellar, incredible stuff. May be too big for most desserts, try this with a rich caramel apple crisp." lfw
