"DATE: 08-18-07 Appearance: Straw with green tints.
Nose: Peach jam, but not as sweet-smelling as that.
Palate: Off-dry with good acidity, midweight. More complex on the palate than the nose suggests, with some earthy/grassy notes not unlike sauvignon blanc. Some richness midpalate, with a silkiness on the long clean finish as well as light tannins.
Conclusions: Interesting fruit wine is somewhere between social style (drink alone) and food wine. It is slightly sweet for most white meats, but would work well wherever there is some spice or heat in the food (say a stir fry) or with sweet veggie dishes. Not for long keeping (drink by 2009)." lfw
