"DATE: 12-21-07 Appearance: Mahogany.
Nose: Cooked maple candy, cassis, deep earthy tones, oak/spice, interesting and somewhat funky nose.
Palate: Medium sweet with good acidity, heavyweight. Big burnt flavours, rich mouthfeel, very long finish.
Conclusions: Very unique wine, not for all palates, but certainly interesting wine for a jaded palate. Probably best by itself, and it may have applications in the kitchen." lfw
