"DATE: 06-11-07 Appearance: Blueberry/ruby/cranberry.
Nose: Huge cassis with underlying spiciness.
Palate: Sweet with fresh acidity, heavyweight. Big fruit, goodly spice, mild tannins, slight herbaceous astringency, big mouthfeel, rich midpalate. Very long clean finish.
Conclusions: Good example of a big cassis! This could last for years, but tastes really good right now. The winemaker may kill me for saying that this would be a wonderful thing to flavour a coffee with, or as the base for a spritzer on a hot summer day. (It would also work with many desserts, as long as they are not overly sweet.)" lfw
