Rhubarb

wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 07-22-07 $ 9.95 (S: 1 A: 13) Winery

"DATE: 08-18-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Rhubarb and spice, inviting and clean.
Palate: Barely off-dry with moderate acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, fruit and spice driven wine. Some richness midpalate, with light tannins showing on the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Quite dry fruit wine that would substitute well for a dry gewurztraminer or muscat. Drink by 2010. Those who can no longer drink grape wines should, under medical advice, try fruit wines such as these." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"An off dry wine, exceptionally smooth blush with the flavour of fresh rhubarb. This wine is an excellent accompaniment to roast chicken and fresh fish."
