"DATE: 07-13-07 Appearance: Deep purple (almost smoke on the water yet).
Nose: Intense blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, plum and spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Big baco palate follows the palate nicely. The herbaceous/rough aspects of baco are here but under control. Big mouthfeel, some warmth midpalate, light dusty tannins. Good clean finish (quite long for baco).
Conclusions: Very good value in big earthy baco which still has many years in front of it. Would work well with acidic foods such as pasta (the tomato sauce)." lfw
