"DATE: 07-14-07 Appearance: Deep ruby / purple.
Nose: Sweet peppers, raspberry, cranberry, sweet cherry and sweet oak. Quite attractive.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Sweetness on the palate agrees with the nose, but it is not sugar, it is ripe fruit. Dusty tannins show up midpalate, with a silky/soft mouthfeel. Finish is long, clean and dry.
Conclusions: Excellent maturing top drawer cab franc still has eight years in front of it. Entering prime time, this is a black tie dinner wine, suitable to many rich foods." lfw
