2003 Mountain Road Red
Tech Information: 01-07-08
$ 16.15 (S: 0 A: 12.1) Winery

"DATE: 01-07-08
Appearance: Purple, still youthful.
Nose: Cassis, beet, cherry, raspberry, herbal and earthy components, deep, woodsy, complex.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big dark fruit follows the nose, with richness and mild, integrated tannins on the midpalate. Very good clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Big red which is a blend of Foch, Gamay and Baco. This could go another five years, is on the rich side, but not a new world soft and easy drinker, more to it than that. Try this with the "Big Red" foods." lfw
