"DATE: 08-18-07 Appearance: Light golden straw.
Nose: Lightish honey and spices, inviting and clean.
Palate: Medium with good acidity, midweight. Certainly a honeyed wine, but showing some peach/pear/apricot character as well, with very light tannins midpalate, some silkiness, and a long clean surprisingly dry finish.
Conclusions: Take a peek at this history of mead. Mead has always been recommended to me as a healthy drink, and now I know why it makes me feel so good... this is a wine that would be best enjoyed by itself, or possibly with lighter flavoured white meats." lfw
