Nose: Cassis, chocolate, sweet oak, vanilla.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Sweet dark fruit, esp raspberry, with some chocolate on the palate, some richness midpalate. Long clean finish. Tannins are still a little agressive, but will settle down in a year.
Conclusions: Another early developing wine from NCT, made in a modern style. The least ready of the four big Bordeaux reds from the College in 2005, it will also last longest, and probably become the best wine for the rare person with the patience to age it more than ten years. Worth the wait." lfw
