"DATE: 08-18-07 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Intense cassis, jammy, rich, inviting.
Palate: Sweetish with good acidity, midweight plus. Big cassis flavours follow the nose, ripe fruit, goodly tannins, nicely integrated sugar/alcohol, tastes less sweet than you would think. Very long clean, surprisingly dryish, finish.
Conclusions: Unique and intense black currant wine with tons of flavour. This could probably go fifteen years or more in a good cellar, getting softer and more mellow as it ages. Not sure what situation to use this in, except of course that it is very good by itself." lfw
