"DATE: 08-19-07 Appearance: Inky dark black/purple.
Nose: Intense cassis with some complex earthy elements as undertones.
Palate: Medium with fresh acidity, heavyweight. Big intense cassis is less sweet than the nose suggests, but just as powerful. Big mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a powerful long clean surprisingly dry finish with just the right amount of blackcurrant bitterness.
Conclusions: Massive less sweet dessert style wine is highly intense, and a great choice for flavour junkies. Certainly has the concentration of a grape icewine, and should last twenty years in a good cellar. Wonderful stuff indeed for anyone who likes the fruit." lfw
