"DATE: 08-19-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Fresh raspberries with a sense of new-mown grass in the background.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate is much drier than the nose suggests, be ready! Nicely follows the nose, with some silky/creamy mouthfeel, light tannins and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Another of the modern fruit wines that is crafted to work with food. Used to be that fruit wine meant sweet and cheap, this is certainly not, nor are most modern fruit wines. Try this wherever you might use a dry rose. Drink by 2010." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This wine opens your eyes with a bouquet of fresh red raspberries and with a deep ruby red colour. The amazing flavour of raspberries emanates across the mouth and finishes with just a hint of sweetness, and a touch of acidity that leaves you wanting more. True distinctive Ontario summer raspberries at its best. Try this raspberry wine with chocolate, chicken or nicely chilled by itself on a hot summer day."
