"DATE: RETASTED 05-07-08
Colour has become white gold, nose is developing a little more complexity, flavours a little richer, developing as I hoped it would. Lovely wine, great value. Drink before 2011.

08-18-07 Appearance: Almost clear, nearly water white.
Nose: Currants and spices, lightly floral.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate is richer than the nose, with extra spicy/herbal character on the attack. Some silkiness midpalate, good clean finish.
Conclusions: Yet another of the new generation of fruit wines made in a food-friendly way. This would suit a wide range of the normal white-wine suspects. Could last three years, but is tasty right now." lfw
