"DATE: 08-18-07 Appearance: Light orange gold.
Nose: Light strawberry aromas with hints of herbal character.
Palate: Just off dry with soft to moderate acidity, midweight. Palate has more flavour than the nose suggests, richer (cooked rather than fresh) especially on the midpalate where it takes on a strawberry pie character almost. Nice long dry finish with a lemony flavour.
Conclusions: This would work in social situations, or with many foods. Try it with the big bird at Thanksgiving, but don't try to keep it for more than a year or two." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Brilliant, deep apricot in colour. Juicy cooked strawberries and orange pulp on the nose. Soft and sweet on the palate, subtle berry flavours with a touch of citrus, finishing quite dry. Medium bodied with very good length, the fruit working right to the end. An easy drinking style that could be dangerous. This strawberry wine could work nicely with egg salad. Move over White Zin!"
