"DATE: 08-21-07 Appearance: Blueberry/ruby.
Nose: Blueberry pie with a rich resinous overtone and spices.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, piecrust almost included! Long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Very nice by itself, but this would sit well with a number of foods with sweet veggies, light heat or moderate spices. Not for long keeping, drink by 2010." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Pale garnet in the glass. Full blueberry aromas on top and slightly vinous, with nuances of black currant and perfume. More blueberries follow on the palate, against a firm acidity and a hint of tartness. Starts with a touch of sugar but finishes dry. Nicely structured, with medium body and fruit developing nicely through the finish. Full of blueberry character, but not blatantly so. Our blueberry wine is a nice aperitif and not just for blueberry fans."
