"DATE: 07-13-07 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Elegant nose is about the balance between butter/vanilla/oak, and the apple/pear/pineapple fruit.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, with richness and softness added to ripe tannins on the midpalate. Very long clean finish.
Conclusions: Another in a long string of excellent reserve chardonnays from Stoney Ridge. Just had their 1992 Reserve (on sale at the winery for an amazing $22.95!!) and it was in superb shape, fully mature and quite the experience. This may reach that kind of age, but is probably better to have before 2015." lfw
