"DATE: 07-16-08 Appearance: Inky purple almost opaque.
Nose: Blueberry/cranberry/cherry with spicy oak and herbal notes.
Palate: Dry with very good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose, with freshness and cleansing acidity, a welcome austerity on the midpalate suggesting long ageworthiness. Good clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Biggish baco yet it feels somewhat "Lean" somehow, good for ten or more years. Best now with dishes containing tomato paste and lots of spices, too much flavour for many modern palates." lfw
