"DATE: 05-11-09 tasted during 2009 Ontario Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Light clean raspberry, sweet oak, light earthy/herbal notes.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose. Dusty tannins, big cherry and clean mouthfeel on the midpalate, with a good clean finish.
Conclusions: Medium style from a less ripe year is an excellent choice with lighter foods, and would work nicely where heavier whites would normally be the rule. Good for another five years, very drinkable now." lfw
