"DATE: 05-11-09 tasted during 2009 All Canadian Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Blueberry, cherry, sweet oak and light herbal / floral tones.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose. Somewhat silky mouthfeel and dusty tannins on the soft midpalate, and a good long clean dry tannic finish.
Conclusions: Modern style of baco a bit on the soft side. Full tannins (for Baco) makes this quite ageworthy (eight years plus) and foodworthy. Stoney Ridge Reserve Baco is usually good value." lfw
