"DATE: 12-29-08 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Spice! Pineapple, peach, apricot, honey, grapefruit, big floral and herbal notes, very muscaty indeed.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, heavyweight. Big palate nicely follows the nose. Great richness and a silky quality on the fat midpalate, with a very long-lasting spicy drying finish. Aftertaste lasts and lasts, and is spicy.
Conclusions: Excellent value in dessert wine, perhaps a little less concentrated flavour than an icewine, but just as much character, and more weight. This screams for rich soft cheeses, fresh fruit and not-overly-sweet fresh fruit based desserts. Wonderful stuff indeed - a real pity that the Ontario government protects people in Ontario from drinking such as this. A real pity." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Le parfum muscat distinctif de ce vin et sa rondeur en bouche lui confèrent une personnalité caractéristique. Coup de coeur du vigneron!."
