wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 12-04-07 $ 12.00 (S: Dry A: 10.5) Winery

"DATE: 12-19-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Quite powerful spicy/candied/muscaty nose, tropical fruit salad.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Big flavours nicely follow the nose, rich and soft midpalate, long clean flowery not-quite-dry finish.
Conclusions: This is a wine that shows just how well a labrusca based white (Vandal Cliche has this background) can do when properly grown and treated as real wine in a cool to cold climate. Quite attractive, good now but will probably hold for another three years. Try this with lightly hot or spicy foods, consider it as Quebec Gewurztraminer!" lfw
