wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 12-04-07 $ 13.00 (S: Dry A: 12) Winery

"DATE: 12-21-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Blueberry/blackberry, light spicy oak, a fruity fresh quality as well.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, light to midweight. Add black cherry and richer mouthfeel than expected, with some silkiness midpalate and light ripe tannins on the good clean finish.
Conclusions: Very useful food wine, this would sit very well with lighter red meats, or most white meats/fish/fowl. Not for long keeping (2 years) this is the wine to have with your everyday meals, and is reasonably priced. Very nice to see wines like this still made in a world gone mad for overly extracted, fat, heavy and sweet artificial wine." lfw
