"DATE: 08-22-07 Appearance: Light straw.
Nose: Plum, peach/apricot and a light floral character.
Palate: Medium with moderate acidity, light to midweight. Fruity attack leads to some spiciness midpalate, with a long clean fresh lemony finish.
Conclusions: This is another in the new style of fruit wines that are suited to foods. While most wine experts shudder when I make this claim, most of them have also not sat down around a meal with them either! Try one like this yourself and see how it works for you and yours. Not for long keeping, drink by the end of 2009. This would also make an interesting base for Sangria (add half this and half fruit juice, chill and serve over crushed ice on a very hot afternoon in the garden!)." lfw
