"08-17-07 Appearance: Deep purple, a blue/black character.
Nose: Ripe cherries, light oak, dark chocolate, plum.
Palate: Medium with good acidity, heavyweight. Big fruit with understated oak influence, rich mouthfeel, light tannins and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Lacks the heavy alcohol to be a port, but is a most interesting dessert-y wine to serve with flavourful cheeses." lfw
